Yugo-Tech is a complete alternate fuel equipment supplier, specializing in both natural gas (CNG) and propane (LPG) aftermarket conversion systems. Yugo-Tech is a designer, manufacturer, supplier and installer of vehicle fueling systems and electrical components for both natural gas and propane vehicle conversion systems. Yugo-Tech is also a supplier of alternate fuel dispensing systems as well as vehicle emission measurement equipment. Mr. Joco Djurdjevic, Yugo-Tech’s president, incorporated the company in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, in July 1987. Mr. Djurdjevic brought with him the experience, technology and contacts to make Yugo-Tech one of the largest natural gas / propane vehicle conversion equipment suppliers and installers in Ontario.

Yugo-Tech’s scope of business covers both domestic and international conversions. For the domestic North American conversion market, Yugo-Tech works closely in conjunction with the local Gas & Propane Utility Companies to supply conversion systems to their recognized conversion shops within their local areas. Yugo-Tech also sells direct to the end-users throughout North America to customers that are not connected with the Utility Companies. These companies include forklift and ice resurfacing manufacturers and dealers. Yugo-Tech operates a fully staffed installation shop and installs conversion systems in our own geographical area.

To satisfy international demands and markets, Yugo-Tech specializes in the design of “custom” vehicle conversion systems to suit local requirements. The technical requirements in the developing countries are usually not as sophisticated or demanding as the domestic requirements but these markets are traditionally more price-sensitive. Yugo-Tech works with the local partners in these markets to develop the appropriate technology for the target market vehicles that will be affordable in the local market environment. In many cases Yugo-Tech works with the local government authorities to advise and amend laws to promote the use of alternate vehicle fuels so as to reduce local vehicle related emissions. Yugo-Tech has many working relationships and Joint Venture agreements in countries such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, Bangladesh, China, Pakistan, and Egypt.

Yugo-Tech is equipped with a complete alternate fuel test and development laboratory and is capable of custom designing complete conversion systems and components for systems. The automotive market is a moving target and is constantly changing. This requires a company to be innovative and flexible to remain market competitive. A prime example of this was the request for Yugo-Tech to design and develop a propane and natural gas conversion system for the two-stroke, three wheeled Autorickshaws in Asia. Yugo-Tech is the holder of several patents for innovative alternate vehicle fuel component designs. Yugo-Tech electronic components such as the Computer Interface Modules (CIM) and Combination Switch / Gauges are unique and innovative in the industry.
